So, seeing as everyone is capitalizing on the Chilean miner thing, who wants to make a map where you're trapped underground and have to survive for 69 days in a Chilean mine. We'll need to come up with ways to make the game fun and not all hunky dory happy times.
How about food, water and sleep things? You can go for 3 days without water before dying, a week without food before dying and 4 days without sleep. Then there would be 'areas' to unlock by getting electricity to the lighting so you can enter it :D.
What if news agencies send down interview drones to harass you, and you have to continually fight them off with mine equipment?
Also maybe there's mythical creatures in the mine, like golems or something.
Lighten up, come on, it's great news... this was a fun post jabbing at the insane amount of focus that is on these guys all of a sudden. If there had ACTUALLY been a tragedy involving their lives then this thread would not exist.
And if you're trolling me and I'm falling into your trap... damn you! If not, I sigh.
It's certainly nowhere near as bad as when 4chan named that girl who went missing for months "Hide and Seek champion".
Also, let's be honest, what do those guys care about some stupid map for a game they've likely barely heard of (if at all)?
They're at home with their families. I would be very surprised to find them at all worried that someone half a world away was poking fun at their misery. I'd also be surprised if they didn't at least expect it a little bit.
Maybe we don't have to be those guys, but we could.

Also, the map's logo has to be:

I'd say it would be quickly removed from bnet as it's offensive (making fun out of tragedy).
@uiasdnmb: Go
Technically it's not a tragedy :). A tragedy is when someone has a flaw that causes his own downfall. Or something.

You could always take the opposite approach and have the player rescue the miners, gathering resources to dig the shaft and fight off reporters.

It could be an exploration map where you find food/water and then at the end is the big battle where you combat reporters using oakley sunglasses.
Yeah cause 33 people trapped underground for 70 days is something intended, funny and good idea for a map.
What's wrong with you people.
You guys sure are adults?
@uiasdnmb: Go
Never said it wasn't tragic -.-. Also, no, technically i'm not an adult :D

Sidenote: They have chili's in Canada, too?
This is what happen when we are pissed off enough to make serious map by this *&^*& publish and popularity bitch.
But yeah at least we have fun. That's the whole point.
@progammer: Go
These days, we'll try anything for publicity to get a popular map lol.
