Is there a tool that allows multiple people to edit a single map at once? I looked all through the third-party-tools and couldn't find anything.
Currently no, however in Legacy of the Void, we will get the capability to merge map files together.
The closest alternative currently is to save your map as an SC2Component folder and use version control software like Git, SVN, etc.

I didn't know about that. Sounds cool. Especially if it let's you easily transfer data from one map to another.
