I don't own a mac, and my internet search only showed me Ambrosia Software's "Snapz Pro X" as a screen-cam for Mac.

It is a 15 day trial, but the only thing I could read up on what happened after those 15 days is that you get a watermark on your videos, you can still record.
(It's not ideal, but I thought I'd at least post it)
Hey guys, I did download, not purchase camstasia, but I don't understand how to make it record my screen. It will only record through my isight camera which everyone knows nobody wants to see my face (just joking lol, you all want to see it!).
When you run Camtasia it should always ask you what do you want to record.
If for some reason that doesn't happen to you there's a "record screen" button. Actually scratch that in the mac version there seems to be a "New record" button that should give you the option to record the screen. If that doesn't work I found this page that might help you:
hello can anyone recommend me a free (not a 30 day trial please) desktop recording device that works with a MAC. I am interested in making video tuts.
Thanks in advance

Would you know how I could switch it around?
Thanks in advance and to the posts above,
