I hope I'm not alone thinking that the custom game list on EU Battlenet is a plague at the moment. The top game being Nexus Wars which haven't received an update for a very long time. One made an own version of the map updating the terrain and making it localized. But that map suffers a very critical bug, and is still somewhat imbalanced. The story can go on the whole day, with foreign languages being used and non-localized maps.
On the other hand, Blizzards "featured map" highlighting come to alive today, boosting 2 maps. I still feel that there's need to boost other good maps that is well made and funny. So I'm suggesting that we should somehow boost Hex'd by Qancakes. In the middle of the beta when Qancakes released Hex'd I saw that it was a map similar to WC3's Warlocks. I directly saw the potential that could be made into Hex'd with all custom spells and terrains that can be made in the Galaxy Editor.
Hey hey, I appreciate that suggestion. It makes me think about something that's been bothering me lately. As most of you probably know there is a rematch feature in Hex'd, this means that you can play it for as long as you want without having to start a new game. The obvious side effect resulting from this is that Hex'd never really gets very high on the populairty list since it's sorted by number of games played in the last hour. I once tried to remove the rematch system and it immediately rose, but people said that they wanted it back so I did so. Now it's slowly dropping again and it's getting hard to get a game going unless you have a bunch of friends online.
The good thing with having no rematch system was that it was easier to get games going.
What do you guys think? Should there be a rematch system or not?

You should bring this up with Blizzard until they make it more sensible. Such as having the popularity based on amount of minutes played x amount of players in game.
There is now an option in the game lobby for the host to enable or disable rematch for the game. :-) Let's see how it affects games / hour. It is defaulted to disabled.

What about something like best of tree? That way there will be "rematch", but still, players will need to join a new game after.

@Qancakes: Go
I say Yes, there should be a rematch feature, Other games lack this. On the other side, I want to play it with randoms rather than AI/Friends.
So if you could publish it twice that'd be great. one with and one without rematch feature.
