Alright guys. I have started school once again. Nevertheless, I want to keep doing Newbie Wednesday (for the 2 people that watch ;) ). Obviously I no longer have unlimited time on my hands to prepare these things, but the show should still be around an hour, give or take a few minutes.
Anyways I'll be at school tomorrow, and as such, can't post the announce thread mid-day like I normally do. So considor this your one day in advance announcement, for Newbie Wednesday.
When: Wednesday the 24th, from 8:30 to 9:15-ish PM (GMT-8)
What: It's about dialogs and the lesser-known dialog items.
And PLEASE suggest new topics for the show. As stated earlier, I have very limited time to work on these, so I really need your guys's help to come up with interesting topics.
A spore cannon that can load units, and then, using an ability of 200/200, launch a capsule/sac/drop-pod at target location, like a projectile across the map everyone can see, which on crash would spawn the units you loaded, all while there's a global warning like when a Nydus spawn.

I find hard to make my way through the event world of the data editor. For example, adding some animation to spells or simply weapons, adjusting tint color of units or spells, changing the way animation work...
One example of many, I made a tank that shoot 3 time in a row (persistant effect). The tank shoot three time, launch actor show up, damage work and everything, but the tank canon ain't moving more than one time at the first of the three shot. There is only one model firing animation and I know it's worked out in the event.
Also, the world of animation... Why can't i use the molotov blast as a missile unit model? There seem to be some restriction in type of animation that I don't understand yet,

Did you make ganondorf boss fight yet? Anyways, I was thinking turn based movement system like Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea.

Another Idea for tonight show...
