Hey all, as some you might know Death TV recently got featured. One complaint I keep getting repeatedly is that the key input lag makes the game unplayable. To that end, been considering just making the game unlocked so people can download it and play it without the need for an active Bnet connection.
Now I know some might edit it and post alternate versions, which doesn't seem such a bad thing to me, but curious if there are other downsides I hadn't thought of to making a move like that.
You do realize he's not cracking a map, rather, he's letting people play his offline, and is wondering aside from people cracking his map, what else he has to be worried about?
Instead of unlocking the map, encrypt it to the point where the editor cant open it and post it online, place link in description of your map. This has all the advantages, none of the disadvantages.

2 disadvantages..
1: Youll get banned.
2: Its against the intellectual theft policy..
The file size increases as the GUI trigger data is not removed anymore.
