Is it possible to have camera collision? It is very annoying with third person maps, especially with a building interior. I would rather the camera not go through the roof and walls, but I don't see how detecting such things would be possible. I don't expect anyone to have a conclusion, but maybe people could look into it. I'm sure it will be useful to a lot of people.
This is not a solution, more of a suggestion. How about making it so whenever you go into an interior it changes to first person? It would be a quick fix until (if) someone comes up with a camera solution.
You do a traceline from your unit towards the camera eye, and if you do a collision hit before the camera distance then limit it to the traceline's first hit (-0.2)
