Dunno if your still looking for help with this, but you'll need to go into terrain, and then Terrain object (Last option) and remove it through that. If that doesn't work it's one of the many glitches which for some reason makes a few dozen or so of these things. I'm not sure of a way around this.
Occured when loaded a map. Don't know how to remove.

Terrain changes applies to both new surface and "under" surface.

I just copied the 256x256 map into a new one whitout those glitching dooads. That took some time, but i got rid of it :D
