So I'm trying to publish my multiplayer map, I have it set as a minor revision (0.1) and a private release with being unlocked. When I click OK to start to publish I get the File Transfers window pop up, but it just sits at 0%.
Has anyone else gotten this problem? or does anyone know how to get around it?
I have this exact same problem aswell but RileyStarcrafts suggestion didnt work for me. If anyone has a solution could you please post because I have put weeks of work into a map that is ready to go, but I can't get it onto battle net.
Ok I actually figured this one out after searching and reading threads on a few sites for over an hour. I'll post what I worked out in here in case anyone comes across this thread with the same problem.
What was causing it for me was a 'conflict' between my Player Properties (Map > Player Properties) and Game Variants (Map > Game Variants). When I deleted my game variants like RileyStarcraft said it didn't fit it for me because the default Game Variants still conflicted with my set Player Properties. It seems like if you set a property like player colour it needs to be set the same in both places, and if you don't you get this weird 0% uploading error instead of a proper message.
I fixed it by setting the Colour and Control options (The only 2 I had changed) in Player Properties and then creating a custom Game Variant and making sure the same colour is set for each player in there. I didn't change any race options but I assume they will work similarly.
I hope now if other people have this problem they spend less time on it than me.

I was having the same issue and this worked like a charm. I didn't even notice that the default variants were selected so I deleted them all and my map uploads. Thanks for doing my work for me. =)
Yeah, thank the Magna Carta for this thread, nice work.
Important safety tip: WHITE IS NOT A SELECTABLE COLOUR IN THE MAP VARIANTS DIALOGUE, SO YOU CAN'T USE IT.
Which is fucking shit, as my game has prodominantly two opposing factions, Black and White as per about 2000 years of board game tradition.
100% gay.
----------
Edit:
Ahh, the plot thickens. Colours HAVE TO BE UNIQUE. This, I did not know. Apparently used at a low level for identity :s
I conjecture that this explains why white isn't selectable: the default neutral/hostile stuff.
FFS, this actualyl means we can't implement RED vs BLUE; we have to use team X, Y, Z with individual player colours.
What the fuck :/
---------
Edit
Also! You can't set up teams with different numbers of allies or players in them and correctly manage their enemy relationships. Have a look for yourselves in alliance/enemy link dialogues, try setting up 14 players as 4v4v3v3. Can't be done, you'd have to do post-lobby logic to implement it.
C'mon Blizzard, you have really, really failed with lobbies/teams/publishing.
You have fucked the puppy until it lies broken and dying.

Thanks,
@BiweeklyAaron:
Me too. Haven't found a workaround as I've been playing Civ V all day.
@RileyStarcraft:
I was able to get it working by deleting all game variants and recreating them. Hope that helps.

Thanks tons. I didnt even know Game Variants existed until now, let alone that i had to make it match my original settings.
I have this problem too, and fixing the game variant to match that I set on player page worked! Thanks a lot!
Thanks this was way helpful
Thank you sir, for your most helpful response
OMG Blizzard sucks. Thank you so much. this helped a lot!
