The “Effect: CEffect Damage_Random” for some units does nothing as in the unit does not do random damage when I set it to like 5 and so on, need help with this please? Can someone please test the “Effect: CEffect Damage_Random” on some of the units on this list on their maps so I can try and see if it is only me having issues?
Here is a small list of some of the units and their effect (Effect: CEffect Damage_Random) damage that does not work: Colossus (Colossus) ThemalLancesMU (Themal Lances) Phoenix (Phoenix) IonCannonsU (Ion Cannons) Banshee (Banshee) BacklashRocketsU (Backlash Rockets) Queen (Swarm Queen) AcidSpines (AcidSpines) TalonsMissileDamage (TalonsMissileDamage) there are few more that do not work, but hopefully this is enough for someone to figure out what is wrong.
amount is the amount of damage which is dealt for sure, if the amount is set to 10 and random is set to 3 then the effect will deal 10 or 11 or 12 or 13 damage. it has worked for me in the past.

I'm just curious: can it be set so it also gets lower number, I mean, if you set amount to 10 and random to 3 can you get also 7, 8 or 9?

No, what I mean is to have numbers from 7 to 13 with the amount set to 10 and the ramdom to 3. It's just curiosity.

That may work but blizz should do a more efficient way, I don't know, maybe a flag in the effect or something like that.
Cani ask if armor works the same way with random damage too? like i have a random damage between 5-9 , will it remove -1/armor from the random damage?
