Huh, today I am mimic a Galaxy Editor beta tester. I found a nasty error in the undo function. It is related to the limited capacity of the Copy&Paste function.
If you are editing in the XML view of the data module, you are limited to 65K characters while you are pasting text into it. This limit also effects the undo function: If you are editing some things very much at the top of a large XML file and then the text part below is more than 65K characters, the undo function will corrupt this data section ... it is pasting only 65K characters from its buffer. The rest is cut off and lost!
I hate the Copy&Paste function bug in xml data editor. I know I can't use it because it will cause my map to crash. But I often forget it and inadvertently press the undo key. :(
