i have a SACRIFICE SPELL . basicly what it does , ( what i want it to do LOL ) is when cast on a specific unit that unit dies and doe AOE damg .
I currently have a
ability: effect - target type
Effect: i used the Bunker salvation to kill the unit
effect: damg : damg type = Splash when unit dies so it does AOE
effect SET to combine both does effects .
now my little problem lol . my hero that cast this spell on a unit , insted of the unit exploding . my hero runs up to the unit and Explodes him self , LOL . sorta like the Baneling .
did i forget something lol.
now i have a other thing that works but not exacly the best thing , i just have the sacrifice spell on the units i can kill with a requirement learn the sacrifice spell on the hero to sacrifice unit. reason i dont want that is that if the abilitie is not directly on my hero i cant make it cost ENERGY to my hero , only the unit that has the spell directly.
i would much rather have my hero click ont he unit and have the unit blow up right there . apose to have a Sacrifice ability directly on the Units(like salvige on bonkers)
any help on what i might be doign wrong would be great. thanx
First: The reason he runs up to the target is most likely because the default range of abilities is 0
Second: Make sure your effects "Target" values are all something along the lines of "Target Unit", this includes the bunker effect. I recommend removing the bunker effect and creating a different damage effect and set it to target the Target Unit and set the vitals fields to 1 for life and shields, that should kill the target unit.
