As the title suggests, I am trying to make the primary actor not visible and the model addition actors still remain visible. I know how to hide an actor/unit, but am failing to only hide the first actor and still show attachments. I have tried checking No Draw on a buff, setting the primary actor's opacity to 0 and the attachments to 1 with no luck.
I am looking for a very specific example of this done, a demo map would be great, freshly made or pointed to. I simply don't get what little piece I'm missing here, I know it can be done however.
Go to the attachments and stop opacity, scale and model scale being inherited.

There's a field called inherited properties or something like that, near the bottom, as DrSuperEvil said - Uncheck Opacity (And any other things you don't want attachments to inherit either)
Great, that works just fine now, just one more question.
How does one disable the 3 lights coming out of the mothership actor?
Edit the model. Read the tutorial on blender on how to do so.

I probably should figure that out sometime, but went the much lazier route of making the unit's height -1.5 and using some local Z offsets of 1 to make the attachments show w/o the lights instead.
