So I'm trying to rework the Predator unit slightly. As already known, Predators have this AoE whenever they strike a target, dealing damage to enemies around them. Now, I want to add an additional effect to this AoE, which is basically to heal the Predator for +3 health per target.
I've made a new "Modify Unit" effect and applied it as an additional effect that occurs within the Retribution Field (Search), which basically searches for targets to hit with the AoE. In the "Vitals - Change:" I've put "3" Life, and have assigned it to affect the "Caster" unit.
Despite my efforts, this does not create the desired effect I want, and the Predator doesn't heal no matter how many targets it hits. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
NOTE: I've provided a bunch of screenshots so you can get a visual understanding of what I've done.
StarCraft II: Annihilation Campaign - A 24 mission single-player campaign featuring unique heroes, custom tracks, boss battles, a varied set of mission scenarios and three intersecting storylines.
You are adding it directly to the search so it is being applied to the next nonexistant search index. Use a Set effect to apply the Damage and Modify Unit effects that is then used by the Search Area effect.

Ah, I knew it was something very simple in the end, but couldn't figure it out! Thanks! It works now!
