So, i copied a unit, its actor, etcetc. How do i make it so that the unit plays its construction animation (its a supply depot) when it is constructed? it just has the supply depot construction model doing nothing
also, how do i change the launch location so when i copy a marine and make it shoot it appears on the gun and not the floor (or the bunker hole)
The construction model is a seperate actor. The supply depot creates "SupplyDepotBuild" when construction starts. You also have to duplicate the Construction actor (which responds to the Build ability. You can find the default terran one listed on the SCV build ability)
Weapon: Attachment methods on the Attack actor. The marine uses AMFilterWeapon00. Also go here for a more detailed explanation.
Bunker attachments are set in the "Container - ..." fields (there's at least 1 for attachment methods and 1 for launch assets, i.e. the gunfire sprite)

Also, about construction, i dont understand? it has to be a problem with the ability, because i put the same ability on two different slots of my build ability and one of them worked while the other didn't and i couldn't find any unequal fields. What field are you talking about? Also, new problem, for some reason a model of a made supply depot is appearing over the construction model now. -.-

Everything I said refers to actors. If it works with a different Info+/command card slot but the same build ability I have no clue.
Default Terran setup is:
Construction ability, contains gameplay data.
Construction actor (named Terran Construction or so), this has to respond to the construction ability (Abil.YourBuild.BuiltStart->Create), and the "progress update" events must refer to the construction actor itself. (If you copy it they still refer to TerranConstruction)
Next we have the Supply Depot actor, which has several construction events. Compare with the original supply depot. The construction related events mostly are those right beneath the grey entries. One of the events creates SupplyDepotBuild.
SupplyDepotBuild contains the build model, and creates TerranConstructionAttached.
TerranConstructionAttached handles the "build stages" I think, and creates some sounds. You don't have to copy it or subsequent actors.

To change launch location you go into Attack actor of your unit and change "Attachment: Launch Attachment Query"
To change launch location from bunker you go into same Attack actor of your unit and change "Attachment: Container Attachment Query" (those refer to container attachments point)
You can see model attachment points by going into previewer, click in top menu Render > Show Geometry > Attachment Points.
As answered in that post of yours, on the unit in the Units data type remove the Turnable flag.
If you duped your supply depot then check the events for anything with an it containing the number 2 odds are it is blah2build instead of blahbuild2 so it is referencing a non existant actor.

I just followed a tutorial incorrectly and i couldn't figure out what i did wrong

^ when i cast the ability it doesnt do ANYTHING. yet when i add the ability to the unit, all the effects, actors, etc. are listed under the overview
