Im making my own custom unit based off one of the SS_units but its WAY to big and i have yet to figure out how to shrink it. i cannot find any way to do so.
Click on the Unit tab and select the unit you want. There should be a box right below the selection box where you selected your unit. In the box, scroll down to the Actors category and click on the unit's actor. That will bring up a new stats menu at the box on the right. Simply search for Art - Scale. With this, you can set the X-Y-Z Scale.
X is width, Y is length and Z is height. You can play around with this, as it also stretches the unit in awkward ways if you use dissimilar numbers. This is what I'm using for my map, PaperCraft.
call me a noob, but i cannot seem to find what you are talking about at all. Im lookin all over the actor i made and i can see no art- scale anywhere, not even on other units o.0

At the top of the right menu you can enable/disable showing some fields. To show everything you must:
Enable Show Table View
Enable Show Default Values
Enable Show Advanced Fields
Enable Show Field Type Names
Disable Combine Structure Values
Under the Unit actor for the unit the fields you are after are No. 25-26 and 35-36 from the top if the fields are showing in alphabetical order.
You can also adjust the scale under the model used by the actor.
