Hi guys - I'm having trouble getting the models to work - I follow the instructions changing the 'models' tab and 'actors' tab models which didn't work for me - but all of the video's I've then looked at don't show any 'actors' model change - they only change the model in the 'models' tab. I've also done exactly what the videos have done, only changing the 'models' tab .m3, but that doesn't work either.
I'm using the 'dog' unit and trying to give it the 'tiger' model from the beasts 1 pack. I keep getting the white and grey translucent dome with a dog underneath instead.
I imported only the texture file first, saved, COMPLETELY shut down the editor, and then imported just the model - no luck.
I have created custom units and buildings already and they work ok - what am I doing wrong here?

edit: I'm on a Mac if that makes a difference... Also, based on my research, I'm going to have to install parallels and windows to get my own models, right? There isn't a working Mac WoW model viewer?
Also to note - the model looks fine when viewing it from the import window. The tiger model is there, with the texture, and it's animated. Thanks!
Some models, like the Dark Templar, have different model variations. The dog has three. You can check this amount by going to the Model in question and checking Art -> Variation Count. Change that number to 1. Now replace the Dog.m3 (or whatever it happens to be) with the tiger model. I've uploaded an example to show you.
Once I saw it working, this sense of impending doom washed over me as I realized the scope of how much work there is still left to go... ;) Ah well, keep on crawling...
