I'm fairly sure this mechanic was added to the gameplay in the 1.5 editor but I'm not sure how to disable it. I still want items to be able to be pawned at the "shop," so disabling the "pawnable" flag isn't a solution.
Not really a solution but a similar question, I have noticed that items with charges tend to borrow from each other when you pick them up. IE, your potion belt has 2 10 charge heal potions, 1 at 7/10 and another at 9/10, when you pick a new one up with 10 charges, you end up with the first at 10/10, the second at 10/10, then the third (just picked up) at 6/10. Is there a way to disable this, or at least make it so the lowest charges is always on top?
As a sidenote, cool to know about that feature bilxor, sounds convenient to me, lol.
I want to remove it too. There's a pawn instant command in the inventory ability. I'm going to try either checking "Hidden" or putting a Requirement that always returns 0.

Yeah except when you have a map that is largely based on finding the merchant to sell gear to make money.... :(
