See above image for what I'm referencing. What could cause this? This is a joint project, so I don't recall changing anything but alot of stuff is changed in the Mohandar Attack actor... so any suggestions would be helpful.
That was the first place I checked, unfortunately. It looks fine, and just to doublecheck everything I set all of the values there to the default for Mohandar's Attack actor. The problem persists. I then tried using the values for the Sentry attack, but on the MohandarAttack actor. Still, no solution. I'm not sure what the problem is.
maybe what u can do is delete everything on the mohandar attack ( reset all to default) and start over again.
it definitely looks like some sort of attachment issue, Logic says its to do with the action actor, but maybe you have another damage effect that isnt suppose to be there firing also?
I reset everything on MohandarAttack actor, and nothing.
I've looked under the 'BeamActor' and I don't see anything that could be causing it. As far as I can tell, all I did was move the weapon over to the sentry. I'll spawn a mohandar and see if it persists.
The beam itself looks excellent- my qualm is with what occurs after the beam reaches it's second charge. If you look at the left side of that image, there's a small tendril coming out of the targeted sentry. It's a minor bug, but one that I want to squash.
Only models with a certain bone can be used as beams. As the yellow streak persists without there being a beam, this tends to indicate an impact model of the action actor or a seperate Model actor being created when the unit takes damage

check the action actor for the weapon , take a look at the site locations the beam attaches too

was it happening before?

check the beam actor also (within beams)

What is the problem? Everything looks fine for that beam model. Sure someone has not just messed with the Y scale of it?

Does the problem persist using a different beam model?
What are the impact models for the Action type of actor?

I swapped the Beam Model out for a Vulture Weapon (lol) and the beam itself didn't appear.
The tendril did, however. The bug persists! However...now I know what it isn't. I have an idea. =)
