Some models, generally for larger doodads, have an occlusion setting on by default causing them to go transparent so as not to have them obstruct the view too much.
To change this, check the model for the actor/doodad in the data editor, there's a field named "occlusion". Set it to none.
Hope this the right topic :P
Hey, I am new with the editor and did my frst and now second melee map. But my problem is now that flying units are flying through the buildings. I solved some of them with the no fly zone, but there are places which would make no sense for me to put this zone there. The only thing I know to do with the editor are mapping and very little things with datas or something else. But how can I solve this problem? Here some pics: [img]//i.imgur.com/boIWJAF.jpg" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/boIWJAF.jpg[/img">http://i.imgur.com/boIWJAF.jpg[/img] [img]//i.imgur.com/r21fhTU.jpg" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/r21fhTU.jpg[/img">http://i.imgur.com/r21fhTU.jpg[/img] [img]//i.imgur.com/5cxCrRv.jpg" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/5cxCrRv.jpg[/img">http://i.imgur.com/5cxCrRv.jpg[/img]
I already placed them bit lower but e.g the at the second picture, it would look bad if the flags would go under the earth.
no fly zones? raise terrain underneath them?
I raised it but why is the building now like transparent?
its transparent? not sure what u mean...
It should look like this: [img]//i.imgur.com/cVfWAZp.jpg" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/cVfWAZp.jpg[/img">http://i.imgur.com/cVfWAZp.jpg[/img] But if a unit is nearby it looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/lrgKKgF.jpg
Why? I did the same the the other buildings and it worked like this one: [img]//i.imgur.com/jzMA9b7.jpg" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">http://i.imgur.com/jzMA9b7.jpg[/img">http://i.imgur.com/jzMA9b7.jpg[/img]
Its only with this building.
