I've been trying to change the predator's lightning field ability so that it triggers when the predator takes damage instead of when it attacks, but I haven't had any success. Any help/suggestions?
There's a Buff called Predator - Retribution Field which already does this. Just give it to the Predator unit and change the weapon's effect to the "titanium claws" damage effect (that is to prevent it from also going off when attacking)
The current version only works against melee attacks and has an internal cooldown of 0.5s, both of which you can obviously change.
I'm trying to make the damage trigger when an enemy attacks the buffed unit. I tried creating a trigger where the effect takes place when target acquired == predator, which had the desired result (predator is attacked, predator releases PBAoE), but it only seemed to work when both the attacker and the attacked unit were predators (and consequently trigger the AoE on both).
I figured it out, turns out I gave the unit all the effects it needed, but forgot to give it the actual ability...
