So I am making a moba map as a school project for my level design course.
Was just wondering if anyone could help me out with some skills for my map or least point me towards a really good tutorial on how to make them.
what is your time frame for this project? you might considering scaling it down by ALOT.
Well the project only entails the map design not the heroes, and as far as I'm concerned the map is done.
As for the due date, its tomorrow so really only trying to get two heroes fully completed. So it can be tested as 1v1.
Mostly you could get help by asking on this forum. But I could help you out with some of it, if you want.
At what scale are we talking? and what kind of experience do you have yourself (how much can you do yourself)?
My skill on doing custom skills at the moment is a
Poison skill I gave to my Zergling hero, which just is a DoT over 10 seconds, 5 a second.
Changing the cloak skill to have a increased energy cost. (But that is simple enough to do)
and lastly slightly change scanner sweep for smaller area and limited range.
I'm developing a famous abandoned moba, City of Tempest, which is currently an outdated, inbalanced and broken map for years and it's 5th map in most played in kr. If anyone can help me with anything I'll greatly appreciate it. I didn't get any answer to any question on IRC or this forum...
