let your ability apply buff on caster immediately after cast. Modify this buff so it will issue order - stop when unit suffers damage (modify damage response field in this behaviour). This ability should be interruptible in this case (check the flags).
Sorry could you go into a little more detail... what exactly am I looking for under the Combat: Damage Response + tab? Also, this behavior that I am creating should be applied when prepare time is started, not when the spell is actually "cast," right?
you should search field named Handled in damage response and put there effect - issue order. In this effect choose ability-stop, unit-caster. I dont know how you set up things in your ability so you will need to figure out how to use validator - Unit Order Queue to turn on/off your behaviour by your own.
Ok i got a behavior set up with a damage response that I think should stop the ability... I just don't know how to put this behavior onto my caster unit at the beginning of the prepare phase of the spell.
I'd also like it so the unit gets a behavior applied to it as well at the point of taking damage. don't know where to start with this one
