That looks like a data spillover. As for the 10x time cap on buffs, that is understandable since the increment was multiplied with buff stacks quickly resulting in imba speeds.

I just found these while testing my map.
I can't be sure about this, but applying x4 damage upgrade on an 65536 damage weapon results in 0.5 damage. (used to be 262144)
