So we've run into a strange problem. When placing a forcefield (using the sentry's force field ability) upon a CAMPAIGN unit (e.g. a Spectre), it does not move or affect the unit. When using a Melee unit it moves the unit. So... anyone have a clue how to make the force field affect campaign units?
E.g. the Marauder campaign unit passes through the force field - the marauder melee unit does not.
go to the movement fields and find "collision" or something like that, open the value and there should be lots of things with boxes in front of them, some are checked others arent (the values include "Collosus", "Ground", i think "Air" as well, and a lot of "Unused XX")
See which of those are checked for the Force Field unit, and then check one of them as well for the campaign units.
Should probably work.
Hey, thanks for your response. The campaign unit, in this case the Spectre, does not have a 'Movement - Collide' field. E.g. the Marine does and I assume this is why the Sprectre isn't affected by the force field. Is it possible to add this?
my spectre has a movement - collide field and I havn't modified it in any way. it may be named another field depending on how you have your data windows set up. but try searching in the top bar for a "collide"
theres a bunch of extra collosion stuff also specified there. I dont have the editor open with me now, but i know simply stating to collide with ground isnt enough, i think if i remember correctly its (Unusedland09) or something its called.
for a 100% way to fix this, is to just go to a standard unit that does collide with the forcefield (such as a marine), and do a copy paste of the collide field.
So copy the marines collide field, and paste it onto the collide field of the problematic unit.
Apparently adding the "Ground" in the "movement - collide" field of the force field affected the sprectre - as well as Firebats, hero units etc.. Without adding anything to these units.

Hi again,

We thank you all :)
