Hello, I'm a little new to map editing and I'm wondering how to link my map to the latest patch in hots? It still is linked to the patch that has the widow mine at 160 damage instead of 125.
hmmm - I do not know how to do this, but I would highly suggest you to create your projects in WoL editor, and add the dependencies from HotS when it's released. There will most likely still be a vast amount of changes that could mess up a lot of things for your map, if it uses the HotS Beta Dependencies.
1. Add "Swarm Multi" dependency under "File -> Dependencies" in the top left corner of the editor.
2. You need to publish the map.
It's terrible. These hotfixes aren't really saved on the computer, you just stream them when you play published maps with multi dependency.
It's cool that they can react very fast with that because they don't need a huge patch, but for people that require these things in the editor for testing, it's a nightmare.
There's no way to do it without publishing the map? Also, is there no way to play an already published map with the latest version of hots offline? Thank you for the replies Demtrod and Ahli634.
