I've read through some of the tutorials, but I am wondering how I can create a basic flying unit from complete scratch.
I will start by making the model and texture with 3dsmax and photoshop and use art tools to import the model, adding some special effects for moving.
I wont need to be able to attack, but I assme I will need a...
Unit
Actor + range indicator actor (like sensor tower or point defense drone, shows up when selected)
Model
Flying mover
Abilities of some kind?
What am I missing?

Also I need to know how attachment points work, I assume they have something to do with bones, but the art tool documentation either isnt clear or I missed it.
Update: I was able to successfully create the unit aswell as add a particle emitter using art tools, was amazingly easy compared to Warcraft 3 content creation.
Going to see what I can do with bones
