i have a slowed down tentacle based on spine crawler which attacks a point and then also returns slowly. my problem is that it might attack while it is still "outside" and i can't figure out a way to determine when the tentacle has returned yet.
i want to add a buff to prevent attacking until it has returned. i can't fix this by adjusting the attack speed nor do i want it to return fast.
My memory is a bit hazy, but IIRC, there is a return effect on launch missile effects. So as part of the launch missile effect, disable the attack of the spine crawler, and for the return effect, reenable it.

it calls finish effect, you can watch in my warhound hero map.
mine too :d, there is no return effect.
