So Im making this machine gun players to use in coop.
Rather than use missiles, I just set up the create persistent effect to go straight to a search area effect, which then deals damage. It's a lot like the hellion's flame thrower setup.
However, here is the problem. The set for a missile setup includes the damage effect and a suicide effect in a set so the missile doesn't continue past the first unit it hits. but in this setup, using suicide effect terminates the player unit.
So I want to avoid using missiles if possible because I want the damage to appear instantaneous.
But it should only deal damage the first enemy it hits. Is there a way to prevent the effect from damaging enemy units behind the closest enemy unit?
