I am trying to make an ability "Consume". It is a zerg overlord that can consume (load) enemy units into it's body (cargo). I want to give a buff to the unit that decreases life every second by x when consumed but it will stop decreasing when life hits 1. Depending on different unit, x will be between 1-10.
Have an Effect - Target ability that uses a Set effect which uses an Apply Behavior and Issue Order effects. The behaviour added is your dmg buff that has a validator of the type Unit Compare Vital to stop it taking dmg that is fatal while the issue order applies to your caster unit telling it to use a Transport ability that has no button in the command card to load the enemy unit. For the unloading use an Effect - Instant ability with a set effect with a Persistant effect to act as a delay that uses a Search Area effect connected to a Remove Behavior and issue order effect. The effect causes the unit to be unloaded and then debuffs it, with the right timing this transition with not be able to be noticed by players.
