So I'm currently trying to add the textures from HoTs to the usual max file with the mpq extractor however I continue to get a error access denied. I tried changing the folder options and unchecked read only but that did nothing. Anyone else's like this and anyone know how to do this?
Are you trying to edit files within some folder on your desktop? If so, you could copy paste the file and the copy file wil be accessible. Or you could copy the entire MPQ outside to some new location and take from the copied MPQ.
It happens likely because when you use MPQextractor and your Editor is ON, they cannot be both on, either close all programs related to SC2 and use the MPQ editor or make a copy.
