Actually, it's geometry + uv map, and bone animations + skin. So it's 95% of work. Remaking a material and a particle and setting anims start/end are easier than leaving hitler, jew and a gun in an isolated room until a first fire heard, than opening the door and checking result.
Also, Leruster insinuated that he's working on an improved version of the importer, which will be compartible with art tools.
You are right, I missed the uv map and skin, but it was implied in my statement. I can agree that remaking a material is somehow easy, but I go crazy when remaking the particle emitters.
I'm aware of Leru's work, but I asked anyway, maybe I was missing something.
Are you using m3 exporter? If answer is yes, go get Art Tools, it will fix your issue.
Ok, click here
First, read its documentation.
Second, there is a chance you need to do this.
And yes, you need max 2011.
No need to uninstall max 2010 with m3 exporter, later you could use it for import (art tools don't have importer).
Can it be used to import more than geometry and bone animations? If that is so, how?
Thanks.
@XibadivS: Go
