This is most certainly not the place to post this (perhaps "off topic" would be better) and there is no 5mb limit. The limit is either 20mb, or 10 and will be 20 soon.
WTF??? Chill the hell out.
I have made custom models and textures i have every right to post here,
if not no big deal they can move it. No need to be a dick.
I finally get my poker map working and cant upload it due to the 5meg map limit.
I'm sorry, but that post simply doesn't belong here. You basically just posted to complain about something which isn't even true. I also can't help but feel that you might be trolling.
I only came here because it was one of the last posts and it seemed interesting. Also, that was probably the most idiotic and useless posts I have EVER seen on this site.
OP, if you want you can fix up your first post and I'll move this to map showcase/development otherwise I am going to have to lock it as it doesn't belong to artist tavern really.
But out of curiosity, and maybe that's how we can help you in here, how are you managing your textures/models?
You might want to optimize the way you do your custom graphics so you can get a small cut off from the size of your map.
Here's a few hints I can think of:
-Cards don't really seem like they need a hugely detailed texture, I think you'd be able to get away with stacking them all in a single 1024 texture (which is no more than 500Kb)
-The board can have its own 512 texture, it does need to be a bit detailed or it'll look like crap in game (saay around 300Kb here?)
-The symbols in the board could easily fit all four of them in a single texture a 1024 one (add another 500Kb)
Which leaves me with the models that really I think you can get away with one model and have the animation load a different part of the card texture at each frame and make each frame a different animation sequence.
Great,

Are you sure that this belongs here? Let's look at your post.

Just becasue you havnt had sex in 15 years, gives you no reason to single out 1 post in thousands as an opportunity to be a dick.
