Viking Wars Flight Simulator
This is a flight simulator with 4 player in an epic viking war. I made this early this year. It is currently only in SEA server, I want to share it with the rest of the world.
Simple Features List:
Mouse control for both pitch and direction
Barrel Roll
In the middle of an Epic aircraft war
Max 4 player MPI support
Rocket Launcher with reload
etc

Posted May 16, 2012Hmm I wanted to make flight simulator when Hots is released. Something like combat zone in w3.
cxjiek will continue working on it? If not I may continue it, anyway I would be happy if you would allow me to make a nice terrain for it.

Posted May 15, 2012I agree fantastic job, the controls are a bit clunky but its got good response times with the mouse....i also agree the terrain could be better and the general movement could be improved but this is still far better then I could do but this raises my bar for plane maps.

Posted May 15, 2012I just played this map and it is a great gameplay demonstraitor. I tried to make a similar map a year ago and failed, this... this is just awesome. One of the things I noted was that the terain felt a little limiting, if you put it in space with a space station or two, you could use the whole 256x256 map and make it a lot more complex. Another thing is it might be beneficial to add a lock on. I created a primitive one in my old map by giving my viking the laser drill attack and deleting the damage from the laser drill. I then set the attack used in game to target the attacked unit. Over all though a mind blowing job! Really good work.
