Supply Depot Tetris w/ Multiplayer

Version 1.4 is out with Two Player support!
This is supply depot tetris. The rules are simple. Blocks will drop and you need to manipulate them to complete lines of 10 blocks.
You can shift blocks left or right, rotate them, soft drop, or hard drop.
Has a score system with a high score bank saving!
It automatically sets itself to either single or two player.
Single player requires you to complete 10 lines to move to the next level.
Multi-player requires you to eliminate your opponent by making him fill his screen.
In multi-player, if you complete combos of 2 or more you will send trash lines to your opponent.
Multi-player levels are based on time. 90 seconds per level.
I've spent a lot of time trying to perfect this map (it currently holds 6,500 lines of script) so check it out and have fun!
Right now playing games online with the patcher is laggy... Bare with it until blizzard lets you upload maps to B.net

Keybinds:
Shift Block Left: A or Left Arrow
Shift Block Right: D or Right Arrow
Rotate Block: W or Up Arrow
Soft Drop: Hold S or Down Arrow
Hard Drop: Spacebar
View Opponent's Screen: Hold Tab
To play the map:
1.) Go to your starcraft 2 Beta folder (C:\Program Files\Starcraft II Beta)
2.) Open "Starcraft 2 II Editor.exe"
3.) File -> Open -> Click Browse -> Select your Downloads Folder -> SD-TetrisV1.2.SC2map -> OK
4.) File -> Test Document [b]or[/b] CTRL+F9
is there a possibility 2 play it online now ? and not with the editor? also a 4 player version would be nice !!! =D
"I've set this project on the backburner." - If you ever get back around to it, here are my suggestions:
Make the dialouge box transparent [2/3/tetris line combo] or display the combo to the side.
Make it so you can press and hold the arrow keys.
Make hard drop either instant or aLOT faster.
Make it so levels run continuously without having to click next level.
Consider adding a "40 lines" game mode. This is available in some tetris games. The object is to destroy 40 lines as fast as possible. Before adding this game mode tho, the hard drop needs to be fixed.
Consider adding a hold slot. This is also available in some tetris games. Basically you can switch pieces at anytime with the hold slot, the new piece starts from the top again. You can do this only once per block.
Consider using the 'placement holder' [you know when your choosing to place a building] to show where a block is going to drop.
[personal preference: im used to up being hard drop, but it doesnt matter]
Consider changing the noise for block landing to something more 'ploppy'
Consider playing the sound for destroying a line very slightly sooner.
I didn't play the multiplayer, so i dont know if its a versus type or if you are just playing at the same time, but i feel like versus should definately be an option.
If youre looking for a reference game, i suggest 'Tetris Splash' for xbox live aracade. - I like the relentlessness of the block dropping for your game, dont copy that from tetris splash.
I criticized a lot but its fantastic. If it wasn't any good i wouldn't have bothered to make suggestions. Great job, you're amazing.
There just spawn some block over each other at the top, and player 2 looses.
Awesome job. Still a few bugs left to kink out though.
When rotating before a block has completely shown itself it will get weird gaps and become impossible to rotate on it's way down. When a new level is started the block that was already loaded up in the "next block" section get cleared and a new one will show instead. Possibly just me, but when I played it kept giving me weird messages like "param/value/3E78FK" instead of the text supposed to be in the various windows (if it's just me, anyone have any idea how to fix it?)
And you might want to add a "known bugs" section up top here to let people know what you are aware of to avoid double dipping in the bowl of whine :P

Around level 9 I was really wishing I had another button to rotate it the other way. :( - My sister always used 1 button to rotate- but I've always been a bi-directional flipper tetris player. (That sounds funny ^_^).
- At level 9 I rotated a piece right as it landed - and it did some weird stuff. - It cleared a line that had a spot missing.
But, wow, really fun - fantastic intro, fun to play, good mechanics.
It would be cool to have ghost blocks to see where your blocks will drop before you press space.
A couple of bugs but very fun :]

But i great one bug: I rotated an incoming stone and then i got something really wierd. I will post a picture on the tetris thread.
To play the map just Drag it on Sc2 icon...lol it works since patch 9

sometimes when you rotate beside the edge it goes outside of the edge. Has kinda slow delay, other than that its fun :)
Awesome game man and i hope the multiplayer will be out once we can make custom game on battle net :) One thing i gotta say though is that the shadow of the wall on the left is getting pretty anoyying when you play for a long time...if you could remove it in any way it would be great. Beside this, it's awesome!
2 bugs I found: - press space while intro playing will end the game and not show scoreboard or anything on retry - spamming soft down then rotate made the block unable to rotate more
Even though I'm not a big tetris fan, this is an awesome job of translating it to Starcraft! This is the proof that you can make any game in the Galaxy Editor!
I Would First like to say Very nice map played it for almost 4 hours now, I did find a few bugs, that i would like to point out if you try to rotate while the shape is at the very top you can some times get this very big blob of Supply Depots which you cant place anywhere, another bug I found and it only happened on level 5 and 6 if you move the shape while the line is flashing when you complete a line it make a permanent shape where ever it was left. other then that This is great even though its still a beta I give it a 9/10 :D
