Legacy of the Confederation (Single Player Campaign)
Welcome to Legacy of the Confederation ("LotC")'s base of operations on SC2 Mapster. LotC first appeared in 1999 and 2000 with 21 missions for a primary single player campaign, fully voiced. A mini-campaign ("Fallen Angel") was created a couple years later. We have now resumed work on the LotC campaign for SC2
If you want to 'see' the SC 1 / BW campaigns without having to spend hours of technical maneuvering to get them to work on your system, please refer to our community reviewer JayBorino's channel.

"...Legacy of the Confederation is so gripping that many consider it as good as Brood War..." - Quote from PC Gamer Article
If you want to give the campaigns a 'go', you can visit CampaignCreations.org (at the links above) for the downloads. (If you have issues getting the files set up, JayBorino also has a great tutorial written about this). Just remember you will need the original StarCraft 1 and Broodwar games installed regardless of any other technical wizardry is required.

Want More Info? It's Nothing Newly Posted, however when the campaign was in production in 2010, here are some YouTube links to give you a teaser of things to come.
It will be awhile before this Episode actually hits cyberspace in any form. We decided to move forward with Episode 1 after all and complete the entire series of LotC in SC2 after we began work on Strike First, Striker Harder (The Mission Title for Episode 2's opener).

So its dead af i guess?
Guys, please-please-pretty-please, do it. :)
Is this still alive? I'd love to see this in Starcraft 2, particularly the epic fleet battles like the defense of earth.
Guys, if the links don't work try this link and search for LotC

Hi there! We appreciate you taking the time to watch Jay's videos. His commentaries do add some flare don't you think? We had a lot of fun making Episode 1 in the early 2000s and hope to produce something very memorable this time around for StarCraft 2. If you haven't seen the graphics updates, visit our facebook page:

Time to kill some roaches!
I watched Jayborino's play through and I really loved this custom campaign. My favourite mission is when you play as protoss and you half to hold the line, and then you keep switching between races with the zerg and protoss. Thanks for the campaign! :)

JDC thanks for dropping by! For episode 1, Past Purposes, yes the story is followed fairly closely. There are some key differences (most notably on the later missions). The differences lie mostly in expansion of the story. We'll be going into a lot more detail on what earth's war machine is doing to repel the invasion than in the original LotC missions. The reboot for StarCraft 2 will also give you (the player) control of various hero characters that span multi-mission arcs during the invasion.
For Episode 2, both the main episode and fallen angel are now combined into a single progressing story. The various Fallen Angel events are spread out as well.
Been following Jayborino's playthrough and even considering trying it myself (assuming I can work out the technical details). One thing I noticed immediately was the quality of the story. I'm curious to know if you'll be following the story of the original, and how closely.

Jay Borino volunteered actually. We'd be crazy not to take him up on an offer like that!
Looks awesome got me all hyped up. The voice sounds good especially the protoss which are always hard to make and the female voices are cute :). Only thing missing is a juice trailer!
ps.But was that jayborino himself cast as an voice actor?

You guys are who LotC is for. The player rulez...always. One of the covenants our company will always maintain with players for LotC and future games we design is every question asked by the players will be answered promptly. (Well, provided we see the questions of course :)
